The Home.

As a fresher, what do you think is your other home?
Ofcourse, the Hostel, except the Rumor Guy.
The place with a new family. With lots of people around. With total fun and amusement.
Well, I can only write about boys hostel as we dont have any proper'information' about the girls hostel. LOL.
The life in hostels is always expected to be a strict one. But the fun begins when we tear the strictness apart. Its all about how you and your friends are able to do it. Crack the decorams.
The first day I came in the hostel...everyone appeared to be from different planets...including me. #NoOffense. Some like me with the age 18 looked like 21 and those with 21 looked like 18. Some looked like Beasts...and one of them is always found to have a good life word with me. I looked like a grumpy guy to everyone.
It was a matter of few days only...everyone came to their real senses. The stunts started with my roommate's birthday who had to bear a lot of slippers on the whole body. The cake of wafers was made for him. Crunch it this way, crunch it that way.
It was not easy for anyone of us to glitter the warden. One had to bring delicacies from home to satisfy the man. And yep...it is working now.
The major problems occur when our thingy's are not at their actual place...funny it is; one guy is looking for soap, other one in search of bucket and mug...even toothbrushes!!! I'd never knew that even such items get misplaced so easily.
The 8 and 10 are always in mess....the aroma of disgusting leftovers....shutup! They are awesome dude!!! As the people in these rooms are your best buddies!
The chaos of washroom seem to give all of the boys the best moment....."I dare you to shit for another two minutes, come out punk!"
One thing that makes my hostel special- Birthday Parties.
Guess what? You must be thinking that we have those Jack Daniels with us...but I can swear on everyone's behalf...its just the cake which gives us the pretty half hour moment. Slippers and belts are added so as to make the birthday guy look more 'Decorated'.
Its never like that one has to be studying all the time....we all are animals here. Just go into any on the fourwalls....and you are always welcomed. You can even have a good nap at their place.
The crazy dude from 8 is always seen to be running here and there picking up other's things...but that's fun! I guarantee he never steals. The 'Black Hoodie Guy' in 10 is having a great time. God....even his wardrobe is filled with black clothes. So much is his love for black. Again....no offense... I am not a racist man!!!
No matter what the situations are...we are all united. We care for each other. You know what? We all Love each other. We all enjoy the nights...people at their homes think about night stays....believe me, you dont have to do this once you are in hostel.

But the toughest are the times when you miss them...your family. You are near to tears. Alone in the room you miss your sibling's cheerful voice. The shouts that your dad did when you are acting like an idiot. And mostly.... the love with your Mom. Yes. I miss her. I know everyone does. It doesn't matter how much cheerful you are...but you miss her.
Overall, I can say that hostel is a nice building. Once you leave it; you will be seen amused with the super crazy moments you had there. Relish them!
Crispy!
Thanks.

Being Screwed- Very Idiotic Visual Analysis.

Yes. The title explains the whole thing. How does one get screwed in the college?
By ragging? By conversational rifts?
No! No! No!
The answer is VIVA.
Now you get the actual point. Imagine yourself standing infront of the professor; he is staring at you. Piercing you by eyes. What do you feel now?
Screwed.
That's how I felt during the viva of anatomy. Drilled and screwed. They say that theories are important but you see your real self in the viva. How much you know, how much you are attentive in class; professor can read it by the strands on ur face that occur during viva.
Very Idiotic Visual Analysis. This is what professor did with me. I dont want to make fun of him....but its the rage in me which made me to make the full form of the word viva.
You are waiting for your turn to come. You are waiting for the call. And if its the winter season, you shiver as if you are a Parkinson's patient.
I saw that short girl dancing along with the winter vibes after her viva. She was quite happy. After all she gave the best viva. I was totally jealous. How can she be so good?
Well. That's my brain. The fart travelled to my brain producing the excretory thoughts.
Finally, my name was called. A hot sensation ran up to my spine. The lecturer who was taking my viva, umm...yeah she is hot. No doubt in that. But was she cool by her brainy aspect? Nope. She was not. She told me "take this bone and explain it." God. For me humerus was a headache. I didnt even knew how to hold that thing!!! Somehow I started "this is greater tubercle, this lesser..." I saw that bad grin of hers. "Hold it right! Idiot!" What could I do? I didnt knew even the H of that!
"Ma'am, can I explain the other one? The radius?"
With a bad face, she permitted me. And I.....
I again dumped myself into a hole. I ruined everything by holding it upside down just for 3 seconds!!!!
The viva went bad for me. But there were two rounds of it, I was good in explaining the soft parts to the man with bad throat.
In the evening, I was only able to see bad faces. My story was almost same as that of others. We all had a bad day.
But I was okay with it. We are new in the college. It will take time to sort out some things.
The depressed soul and the mountain guy were seriously hurt by this viva thing. They both are my friends. I could just...smile to them!
I even laughed at them. Haughty Haughty.
So what is the conclusion?
What did you understood by all this?
As far as I can explain, its all in the hands of the person taking your viva. A funboy, A killer lecturer. They know how to drill you. Its not like the school where you can just left their questions unanswered... in the college; no answer means Dead End.
Now I have understood that it is a hard task to score passing marks. Even the brains with best creativity fails. And in Medical, everything is factual. You made your own story, that means you are digging a hole for yourself to fall in.
I still think, if the dean tells us the way that 'How having girlfriends can make you pass the viva-voce?' I just added this one for fun. But this is somewhat a good question. Girls got higher marks than guys. How? Maybe there is some sort of Ninja Hattori technique behind all this.
Coming to the end.....
The lecturer thinks that "Viva is the test of discipline."
What I think it is?
Being Screwed.

Thanks a lot everyone for giving such nice responses to my last blog. I love it when you all support me. Hope you all like this one also!

Well...we all have a standard of life. Clarity of thoughts is not there in the young brains till they reach atleast the age of 18. There will be a lot of them who would oppose me on the last line...but truth remains truth.
To be honest, I have never felt such superiority in my life. And its just because i got admission in a medical college...LOL.
New things were infront of my eyes, new people, new ideologies, everything new ofcourse. damn the syllabus!!! They say, "keep your head down dude!! you are not supposed to see the sky in front of your seniors". I am saved, first batch.
Strange professors... that old man teaching anatomy, hope one day he will be reaching underneath the butts of girls...no offence please! The lecturer in the spectacles...poor guy having a vocal cord problem; a grand salute to him for saying "problem is not here, its there!" pointing towards the mic....even the mic has a problem of its own...he has to hold the small thingy in his hands as if he is in the grand finale of Indian Idol. umm...hope he reaches there too...poor hardworking Doc.
Critical are the words of that maam....physiology had always been a tough subject for me..but her tongue makes it more difficult "students fail in medical college and remain in the same year for atleast next four years!!!!" Oh my!!! Such words making the human soul more dreadful.
Who could forget the shaking head...the biochemistry!!! We shake test tubes and he is one shaking his head at all moments saying "I will be welcoming you all in the tutorial" Whoops! Maybe he will kill us someday.
Toppers had always been a headache to every normal student. These nerds blacken down the notebooks as if they are sons and daughters of Tulsidas. Seeing there nerdy faces in the morning makes you realise that you have taken the Citrazen for a long sleep.
Always keep in mind, if you live in a hostel than your best time is the time when you are out walking in the campus with girls from 5 to 8 in the evening!!! they will tell you a lot. even the Dean says, "make girlfriends, they will help you in making the practical files" Hmm...the man's got old but still young making himself ironic.
Having a bunch of good friends was always important, especially when you are in a medical college. They will be a big support, and when you have girls in that group..mmm the mouthdripping can be imagined.
Cadavers...the best thing in the anatomy dissection lab. Ask me, I think its never important to show respect to them. You never knew them, you dont know their actual face, and yep they dont belong to Obama's family ofcourse. Cut them hard!!
So I think I must have missed a lot of things, and thats due to the fact that I am a fresher. To all of them who are reading this, I would like them to share their views with me so next time I could write more of it. This is just the first stair. Will be presenting more of it as soon as I get experienced of 'life moments' in my college.
Thanks
